Ground travel product supplier GTA, part of the Kuoni Group, will reduce its participation in tradeshows.ĭaryl Lee, GTA’s regional vice president of sales and marketing for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, said, “As our global sales and sourcing network connect with clients and suppliers around the world more frequently, using innovative new ways to connect, we have decided to scale back on our participation at tradeshows as we find that we are now less reliant on these events for trade outreach.” GTA, which provides ground travel products and services for fully independent travel, says it will focus on investment in areas that deliver the most value for travel agents catering to the FIT customer.
